Satyadev Kancharana-starrer 'Thimmarusu' has locked its release date. The crime thriller, directed by Sharan Koppisetty, will hit the screens on May 21. Satyadev plays a lawyer in the movie.

Revealing the news, the 'Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya' actor today wrote, "The fight for what is right begins from May 21st." A glitzy poster of the lead man sitting on a bike stylishly was unveiled on the occasion.

Starring Priyanka Jawalkar of 'Taxiwala' fame as the heroine, the film also features Ajay, Brahmaji, Ravi Babu and Ankith. 'Assignment Vali' is its tagline.

Music is by Sricharan Pakala of 'Kshanam' and 'Naandhi' fame. With the screenplay and dialogues by the director himself, the film is produced by Mahesh S Koneru and Srujan Yarabolu of East Coast Productions and S Originals respectively.

Satyadev is also in the news for bagging a role in Akshay Kumar's Hindi-language film, 'Ram Setu'.
