Thimmaraju (Maa Team Leader) directed by Vemagiri and produced on the banner of Sri Film Productions has Ali in the lead role.

The director had won the best director award at the second International Film Festival in 2008 for his film ‘Raallu’. His latest film ‘Thimmaraju’ had several specialities.

In this film there is a village, which do not get any signals. The villagers tie their mobiles to a tree with a thread in the village and leave the thread hanging. In case, any of the mobile rings, it would vibrate the thread and the person had to go to the tree to answer the call. Over 200 mobiles get hanged to the tree.

Ali also makes a special show by chopping a lemon which is in air while he was blind- folded. Several other such tricks would attract the youth and mass audiences, says the director.
