He is a psychopath. He has the strength of a demon. He wants to get back his lover who is dead 10 years ago and presume that she is alive. Who is he? He is Thimma. He has a doll in one hand and a flute in another hand. He has lengthy hair. He has a bag tucked to his shoulder. He runs pillar to post to get his Kanaka who is dead. A sick man's sickening tale is 'Thimma'. You need the guts to watch this gory film. The strength of Thimma is immeasurable. He is intelligent enough to escape after a series of killings. His killings even cross the Indian score against Bermuda in the recent World Cup! Yet the police has not ordered shoot at sight order. The CBI officer is like a buffoon. Thimma's mother is not able to control 'Rakshas' like son.
You would ask why he is on a rampage. It is because he became mentally sick when he lost 'Kanaka'. He saw Kanaka drowning inside the mud filled pond. From then on Thimma grows healthily but he is weak mentally. He runs to Bangalore in search of Kanaka. He finds Megha a look alike for him and he goes behind her. He wants her to love him and marry. That is impossible. Thimma is hell bent in the process. It is hell that breaks out on the screen.
People with weak mind cannot tolerate this film. Thimma's brutal killing is disgusting. Director Sai Sagar has gone to the extreme. A mentally sick person can do anything is what he believes. Showing the police as incapable and CBI officer doing nothing gives a wrong opinion.
Arjun in the title role (elder brother of director Sai Sagar) should use his capacity in a heart touching films not heart breaking films. He has the precise height and build. He looks good but why should he think about so rudely on screen. Moulya is sweet but Anushka has a long way to go. Dr.B.Sarojadevi has made a wrong choice in accepting this film.
Venkat and Narayan duo have given three lovely tunes but they are not sung well. Ramesh Babu's cinematography is pretty good.
This one is glorification of violence.
