Thimiru
After good outings in Chellame and Sandai Kozhi, Vishal has set up the excitement of the industry. And he is optimistic of scalping a hat trick with Thimuru.
Directed by debutant Tharun Gopi, Vishal is paired with Reema Sen. The two hit it off well in Chellame, their chemistry being a big talking point.
The supporting cast of Thimiru has Shreya Reddy, Manoj K Jayan and Vijayan. Kiran is featured in a solitary number helping Vishal get his steps right in a sequence stretching from Anna Nagar to Mariamman Teppakulam.
Priyan's camera work has come in for appreciation, having a fair amount of running to do to give it the visual delight.
Vishal plays action adventurer.
Reema plays a modern girl, while noted VJ - turned - actress Shriya Reddy has been cast as a rural girl. As it happens, hers maybe the role of the movie. With negative shades to it, Shriya is expected to walk away with all the kudos. Her role has been kept as a good secret.
Another highlight of the film is bringing former Indian footballer and a popular Malayalam actor I M Vijayan to play the baddie in Tamil.
According to Tharun Gopi, the movie is a sequence of interesting events. It is a compilation of events in the life of a few people, who are opposite to each other.
Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja has come good and the entire cast and crew have given their best efforts. Hopefully, the movie would click, he says.
Producer Vikram Krishna, who produced Vishal's Sandai Kozhi before, is hopeful that Thimiru would be a successful film from their production house.
With all ingredients for success featuring in Thimiru, we are optimistic of a good show at the box-office, he adds.
