In his forthcoming film, Ranga.. the Donga, Srikanth plays a thief with a difference. This is what its director GV Sudhakar Naidu says about the central character. The Mahatma star is playing opposite Vimala Raman, who plays a cop in the movie.

The film has been shot for 18 days, in which some scenes and a song have been filmed. The next schedule kicks off on April 5.

Speaking to the media, GV said that Srikanth will be seen as a thief in the film. Ranga, a popular name for the typical rustic thief who earns livelihood by small-time felonies, is a characteristic name that definitely gives us an idea of how the hero's character is going to be in the movie.

Produced by GV and C.R.Manohar Naidu, the film sees Srikanth in a full-on "mass character". Chitram Sreenu, Shivaji Raja, Taslima Sheik, Bhuvaneswari, Ramakrishna and Jayaprakash Reddy play other important characters.
