Who said Kollywood is open only to Mallu actresses? Close on the heels of several young girls from Malayalam like Nayantra, Asin, Navya Nair and Bhavana going on to make a mark for themselves in Tamil film industry, a few young actors from here have followed suit.

Prithviraj made a good debut playing the negative role in Kana Kanden. Today he is busy acting in half-a-dozen movies in Tamil including ones to be directed by K Bhagyaraj, Vasanth and Radha Mohan respectively.

Similarly, Sunil ventured to Tamil with Chithiram Pesuthadi. The movie had a decent run and the actor was appreciated for his performance. Today he has a couple of big offers in kitty.

Time is not far when the likes of Dileeps and Jayasuryas may go out there and have a bit of fun.
