On Tuesday's press meet about 'Theri', director Atlee revealed that the film apart from being a family entertainer will stress on women safety and empowerment.

Now we learn from a source that the film includes a rape scene based on the 2012 Delhi Rape incident that created a huge uproar and protests across the country.
