This may be the first time in Bollywood that an actor has become very particular about the real spelling of his surname and decided to make sure that it will be shown in the correct form in the credits of all his films hereafter.

Normally actors change the letters of their names in many ways as per the advice of astrologers and numerologists to invite good luck and change the fortunes. We all thought that the name is Manoj Bajpai, but it is actually Manoj Bajpayee and the actor never bothered to change it over the years.

Yet it is not known what made the actor to suddenly take a firm decision.

Manoj's acting career which was not going that strong in the recent times has started to pick pace.

And does this have to do anything with him adopting his real surname?

Only the actor can answer this question, but looking at the number of films that he is part of, it is possible for us to make some wild guesses.

He will be seen in 'Money Hai To Honey Hai' directed by Ganesh Acharya, the much awaited stylish Sanjay Gupta film 'Acid Factory', 'Rajneeti' by Prakash Jha and 'Jugaad' made by Anand Sharma.

A really impressive versatile film list by A-list directors that the hugely talented actor can look forward at a time when great creative experiments are being carried out by young and vibrant film makers of the new age Bollywood.
