By the time FASHION releases, Mugdha Godse would have given close to a year of her life on the film. This Madhur Bhandarkar film is aiming for a 29th October release and Mugdha, an established model and a ramp walker, has been involved with the film since the end of last year. In the meanwhile, she did not looking at acting in any other film and was sure that FASHION was going to be her launch vehicle.

"Howsoever tempting an offer may seem, there is no reason why I should be looking at any other film but FASHION as my debut vehicle", declares Mugdha who is supposed to be playing the role of a popular real life model, "Not many people get a platform like this to make a first impression and even though it would be only towards the year end that my effort would be noticed, I am quite sure it is going to be worth it."

But isn't it difficult to reject offers, especially when signing big deals is the call of the day?

"Actually, it isn't really difficult once you have made up your mind and are sure about what you want to achieve", says Mugdha promptly, "It isn't as if I am not making money in the meanwhile. There is ramp, fashion shows, the stuff which keeps me thoroughly busy along with giving me money."

Getting candid, Mugdha discloses, "When film makers see that a young girl is making some name for herself even before her debut release, they do want to sign you on instantaneously. Yes, the offers are tempting too because I have been led to understand that the buzz around my act has already traveled from the sets to the outside world. There have been many positive feelers."

So what is stopping her?

"When Madhur sir declares that this girl has that something special, I would rather match up to the standards he has set and continuously meet his expectations before jumping on the signing spree. It is just that at this moment, I don't want to do anything stupid which negates the vibes which are being generated around my role in FASHION", concludes Mugdha.
