Actor Jiiva had worked with a debutant director Kathir way back in 2008, in the rural mass entertainer Thenavattu, that also starred Poonam Bajwa, Saikumar and Ravi Kale in prime roles. The movie, which was distributed by Sun Pictures had non stop promotions, despite which ended a dud at the box office.
   
Now, after a decade, director VV Kathir is all set to return to direct, as he will be directing the remake of latest Tollywood youth hit Hushaaru in Tamil. This Tamil version will be bankrolled by Cosmos Entertainments and will feature newcomers and the cast and crew are expected to be announced soon.

  
Hushaaru Tamil remake will have Arjun Reddy fame Radhan scoring the music, making it his second Tamil movie after Varma directed by Bala. The Telugu flick which is about engineering college students, was directed by Sree Harsha Konuganti, starring Tejus Kancherla who had acted in Un Samayal araiyil by Prakashraj, Rahul Ramakrishna among others, and is racing past the 25 days mark with good collections.
