“Thee Thalapathy” the second single from ‘Varisu’ has landed as a special celebration of Thirty Years of Thalapathy Vijay. The fiery song rendered by Simbu, tuned by Thaman and written by Vivek has sure kicked up a fire storm on social media.
The unique voice of Simbu amplifies the meaning of every word in the lyrics that reflect the constant opposition that Vijay faces and emerges the winner in all the trails by fire. For example a line goes “Welcome new enemies as the old ones are now a part of my fandom.”

‘Varisu’ directed by Vamshi Paidipally is produced by Dil Raju . Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna are the lead pair supported by an ensemble cast of top actors and actresses from both the Tamil and Telugu film industries. The film is slated for release world-wide on Pongal 2023.
