The theatre strike in Kerala has been withdrawn. As per the government decision, the tax fund of Rs 3 will be levied per ticket from now on. The strike was called by the Film Exhibitors' Federation headed by Liberty Basheer protesting against the government decision.

With the strike being called back, the Christmas releases offers an interesting line up. We have Dulquer's 'Charlie', Manju's 'Jo and the Biy', Dileep's 'Two Countries', Dhyan's 'Adi Kappiyare Kootamani' et al vying for the top slot. This Friday, only other language movies will release in theatres including 'Bajirao Mastani' and Danush's movie.
