Covid-19 outbreak has adversely affected the cinema business all around the world. Theaters had to shut down in March 2020 and although they opened up in October, there hasn't been enough footfall in the theaters. Now theatre owners and cinema associates around the country are hoping for Salman Khan to save them from shutting down permanently.

Salman Khan is the King of Box Office as his films guarantee hundreds of crores of business. So many of Cinema hall owners associations have written a letter requesting Salman to release his much hyped film 'Radhe' in theaters instead of OTT platforms.

A part of the letter read, "“Your film Radhe - Your Most Wanted Bhai is among the few that are capable of resurrecting the fortunes of independent / single screen cinemas across the country. A film like that, if released widely can give not just financial support & relief, but also a ray of hope to owners & employees of theatres in the context of their future. We request you to plan the film's release at every cinema in the country on Eid 2021, as there cannot be a better idea than that for us film exhibitors & more importantly for millions of your fans, whom we cannot wait to welcome back at the theatres."
