Tomorrow would have most probably been the day when the film buffs wish of finally getting to see 'Dasavathar' unfolding in front of them becoming true.

The scenes which depict the wrath of the sea gods on the humans which had to be finished up as per the earlier information and one which was holding back the release of the film is already being shown in the promos of the movie.

One last and final nail is to be pulled out for the emancipation of the extravaganza.

The film has to clear the docks of the Madras High Court which now has the sole authority to decide to remove or not to remove the passionately conceived and constructed scenes which according to the World Vaishnava Samrakshana Seva Sangham will result in a clash between the Vaishnavities and Saivities.

Kalaipuli G Sekaran who is the president of the Distributors Council plea towards the people who are standing in the way of the release of the film to understand the seriousness of the situation where crores of money is at stake not only for the financer of the film but also for the distributors and the exhibitors too, comes with a matured and well defined argument in which he says that cinema lovers watch a movie for entertainment and a single movie can never make a revolutionary change in the minds of the people .

He also told how a movie will become a handicapped one devoid of some key scenes and told that people should never jump into conclusions without watching the whole movie and just on the basis of some media reports and publicity photographs and ask the censor board to consider their request for removing the scenes.

In a country where thousands of temples lay in ruins and looting of the statue of the deity from the temples is nothing new, showing of a statue of a Hindu god being destroyed that too will shown happening hundreds of years before will not create any ripple effects.

People will very well understand that the idol destruction frames were included because it is a necessity for taking forward the story and not for hurting one's beliefs.

The scale at which the movie is made, the team work put out by a huge team of technicians, The long discussions for fixing the creative inputs that would have lasted for hours, the long hours put up by Kamal Haasan for changing his face with the help of make-up etc..all were in one way or the other intricate hurdles that had to be crossed to finally bring the dream into reality.

But the difference between the last obstacle the movie in the form of the petition and all the other innumerable challenges faced by the team 'Dasavathar' is that when the movie was being canned, the makers were in full control of the situations and the progress of the movie depended just on their enthusiasm and ideas and of course money which was not a problem at all for Oscar Ravichandran.

But in this final test before the glory either surplus cash to spare, right circumstances or great ideas that comes out of intense brain storming never becomes the solution just because the headache here is simply a thing that people in India carry so close to their hearts and had the influence, still have it in plenty and will never loose the sharpness and influence – Religion and religious sentiments.

The grandeur and the excellent visual effects work on display in the trailers now are doing dual duties.

One is that of promoting and building up an excitement, which it is carrying out efficiently and the second task is giving a patience test for the audience each time they get to see the few selected frames that just last for a few seconds.

Even if the movie gets postponed, the dreaded waiting period is not going to take the sheen away from the movie because it is the only one of its kind ever made.

The only one desire is to see it emerging victoriously unscathed from the court.
