Beautiful actress Yami Gautam is all set to play an antagonistic character for first time in her career in the upcoming film 'A Thursday'. The trailer of the same was released on Thursday and it seems like just the kind of film which will give Yami's career a necessary variety.

The trailer shows the actress in the role of a pre school teacher, Naina Jaiswal, who takes 16 of her pupil as hostages and makes some demands from the government. Actors Atul Kulkarni and Neha Dhupia appear as cops who are seen negotiating with Naina. By the end of the trailer, Naina demands to have a dialogue with the Prime Minister of the country and threatens to shoot kids one by one in alphabetical order.

Judging by the trailer and synopsis, the film seems to borrow a lot from the 2008 film 'A Wednesday'. It is also being specualated that Yami is actually playing an anti-hero and there might be a deeper motive behind her sinister actions.

Directed by Behzad Khambata, 'A Thursday' will release on Disney+ Hotstar on 17th of February.
