As 'Don' and 'Jaaneman' pump up the heat for the October 20th release, J.P. Dutta has also eventually released the teaser of his magnum opus 'Umrao Jaan'.

While the release date has been tentatively fixed as November 3rd [one is yet to hear an official word from Dutta himself], the promotion of the film has kicked off with a short half-minute teaser featuring Aishwarya Rai in complete getup of Umrao Jaan. Her looking like a million bucks may be stating the obvious but what also strikes is Abhishek Bachchan's getup that is projects him as a 'pathan'.

The song lip-synched by Aishwarya Rai is titled 'Salaam' which is sung by Alka Yagnik, composed by Anu Malik and written by Javed Akhtar. The first 30 seconds have been impressive. Let's see what the rest of the film has in the offering!
