The Undertaker is perhaps the biggest and longest-reigning superstar in the WWE who has enthralled audiences worldwide for the better part of four decades. In the recent Wrestle Mania 36 he beat the much younger A.J. Styles with his signature move and buried him and rode away on his bike.
Now The Undertaker whose real name is Mark Calaway has hinted that he is retiring from the WWE and may only be tempted to return for one more match in the future. Speaking about the A.J. Styles match he stated "It was a perfect moment. You don't necessarily always get those. If there was ever a perfect ending to a career, that right there was it. It's time this cowboy really rides away, I can do more good outside the ring than I can inside. I'm finally at a place where I can accept that."
Fans are pouring in their tributes to The Undertaker on Twitter and his last opponent A.J. Styles has gushed "Still floored by the experience and reaction to the #BoneyardMatch at #WrestleMania. If it was the last time @undertaker laced up his boots, I’m honored it was against me. #TheLastRide".
Fans sure will miss the lights going out and the deadly death bells ringing and The Undertaker appearing from nowhere into the ring striking terror into his opponents eyes. His signature moves that included Bear Hug, Big boot. Foot meets face. ...Leg drop. ...
Running DDT. ...Sidewalk slam. ...Back body drop. ... and the Gorilla press wrist lock can never be replicated. He has been named the biggest superstar of tall times by many of his contemporaries including The Big Show and Vince Mcmahan.
