We have seen how the hardcore Ajith fans in the audience dream about meeting him and taking a selfie with him.  Similarly there are die hard fans of the mass hero within the film industry and their ultimate dream is to direct him in at least one film before the end of their careers.

That is how directors like V.Z. Durai ('Mugavaree'), S.J.Surya ('Vaali'), Saran ('Kadhal Mannan'),  Saravana Subbaiah ('Citizen), Rajakumaran ('Nee Varuvaai Yena'), A.R. Murugadoss ('Dheena') and Vijay ('Kreedam') among others made their careers with Ajith. The careers of directors like Vishnuvardhan ('Billa') and Venkat Prabhu ('Mankatha) took off after their stints with Thala.

If there are about a 1000 aspiring directors in Kollywood around 80 percent of them carry the dream of one day getting a chance to direct their idol Thala Ajith.  Watch this space for a special surprise from Raaga to the Thala Fans on his birthday May 1st.
