Ever since Simran, a popular actress once, tried to stage a comeback after her marriage with a Delhi based pilot Deepak Bagga, controversies and the actress became inseparable.

She was accused of not turning up for shootings regularly for her comeback film Kicha Vayadhu 16.

She was initially signed for a plump role in Rajnikanth's Chandramukhi and was later bid a bye and was replaced by Jyothika.

Reports are agog that Simran is turning a problem for producers and directors in her comeback bid as she is insisting on a role for her husband in all her movies.

According to producers of Kicha Vayadhu 16, Simran proved to be a big problem for them to complete the film.

She not only demanded a huge salary, but also turned up late for shootings and was demanding a big role for her husband Deepak in the movie.

"We could not make Deepak a hero in the film yet gave him a good role in the movie. Simran was not satisfied. She showed her ire by not turning up for shootings. This resulted in shooting being cancelled regularly, meaning a huge loss for us," the hapless producer says.

In Kitcha Vayasu 16, Simran plays a teacher and Jai Akash is her fiancee. Boys fame Manikandanplays a student, who is showered affection by Simran.

The latter mistakes it for love.

Director Rajagopal says, "alas after great difficulties we have completed the film. Hope it does well".
