'Prema Ishq Kadhal' is a love story being produced by Bekkem Venu Gopal and directed by Pavan Sadineni, a software engineer turned filmmaker. The film is learnt to have been attracting the Multiplex and NRI audiences with its slick, yet trendy presentation. The music by Sravan has already caught their attention. While the movie is getting ready for release, one striking thing that is attracting people is the set of three girls that are cast as the leads in the film, viz., Vithika Sheru, Sri Mukhi and Ritu Verma.

Vithika Sheru is a Telugu girl from Godavari base but has debuted in Kannada and after a couple of Kannada films, she is making her debut in Telugu with PIK. She also studied styling at Lakhotia Institute of Fashion Technology and practiced designing for a while. She is also doing the stylist’s job for the film. With two Tamil films also on hand, she believes she has potential to make it big in the tinsel town.

Sri Mukhi, another Telugu girl has actually made sidekick roles before grabbing the lead roles in ‘Saradhi’ and PIK. Round faced and wide eyed, this girl has attracted quite a sizeable fan following on the social networking platforms like Facebook. Her appearance as an anchor of the popular TV show ‘Adhurs’ and some TVCs parallel to that. Apart from the two films as lead in Telugu, she is also debuting in Tamil opposite Arya’s brother Satya. Looks her calendar is busy with the assignments.

The third girl is Ritu Varma was the first runner up in the Dabur Gulabari Miss Rose beauty pageant a couple of years ago, walked the ramp for a while but her break came with the award winning short film ‘Anukokundaa’, the short film has won her best female actress and with that, a lot of attention too. Both her films PIK and ‘Naa Rakumarudu’ are ready for release and might just hit the screens within a span of a couple of weeks. Though not a Telugu girl, she is brought up in Hyderabad and claims she is as much Telugu as anyone else.

They are young, groomed, beautiful and exciting. For an industry deprived of Telugu beauties, the film is casting not just one but three Telugu girls and will have to be commended for the effort. We will wait and watch all of them with a keen eye as to how each will turn this opportunity to good effect.
