Bakrid Teaser review

Director Jagadeesan Subu, who had received laurels for his award winning movie Sigai starring Kathir, which was released on Zee 5 app recently, is all set for his next release, Bakrid, India’s first camel flick. The movie stars Vikranth,Vasundhara and MS Bhaskar in key roles, and the teaser of the movie has released today.

The teaser presents Vikranth as the son of the soil, who grows with his father, a farmer, and is forced to take up another job due to circumstances. His life changes as he brings a camel and the camel gets close to members of his family – his daughter, and wife played by Vasundhara. However as events unfold, he realizes that the camel Sara cannot live in the unfamiliar terrain, and he sets out on a journey with the camel. Was Vikranth able to take the camel to its habitat safe, crossing various obstacles is what Bakrid teaser promises.

Produced by M10 Productions M.S.Murugaraj, the movie’s teaser presents interesting visuals showcasing scenic locales of various parts of our country as Vikranth travels with the camel, and leads the life along with it, and director Jagadeesan Subu himself has handled cinematography. D.Imman’s background score for the teaser is soothing. Jagadeesan Subu’s Bakrid teaser gives a glimpse of the soulful journey of a man and a camel and their bonding, and it is to be seen what the movie has, when it releases in summer.
