A popular star in Tollywod, Sarvanand was seen in a couple of Tamil films before, including 'Kadhalna Summa Illa'. The actor is now back in Kollywood with 'Engaeyum Eppothum', which will hit the screens shortly.

"I was in Chennai some time back when I casually met Saravanan, the director of Engaeyum Eppothum. After chatting with me for a while, he said that he wanted me to be part of his debut directorial venture. Impressed by the story, I said yes," he says.

The maiden production venture of AR Murugadoss, in association with Hollywood's Fox Star Studios, 'Engaeyum Eppothum' also has Jai, Anjali and Ananya playing pivotal roles. "It is a story of two pairs," Sarvanand says.

"I play an IT professional who has a modern approach towards life. The film beautifully narrates the stories of different individuals. The movie is not driven by characters, but by situations and incidents," he adds.
