The Rahman-Rajinikanth event is talk of town

It's known that AR Rahman, to commemorate his 25th year in the music world, is conducting many live concerts across India titled Encore - The Concert', the final edition of which will be held at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex in New Delhi come December 23.

The finale is now the talk of the town also because Superstar Rajinikanth has given his nod to participate and this has caused speculations that he would sing live for ARR.

It seems Rajini is not expected to sing at the vibrant musical event.

The Delhi concert would also felicitate legendary theatre personality and pioneer YG Parthasarathy, father of Y Gee Mahendran, who is a close relative of Rajinikanth. The show is organized by Mahendran's daughter Madhuvanthi Arun.
