Suriya reveals the Periyar connect in Kaappaan!

After his political entertainer NGK, Suriya will be seen next in Kaappaan directed by KV Anand, and the movie also stars Mohanlal, Arya, Sayyeshaa, Samuthirakani and Boman Irani. Recently the press meet of the movie was held in Chennai, and Suriya revealed the core of Kaappaan.

During his speech, Suriya said that people think Nadhuram Godse killed Mahatma Gandhi, but when  the news was said to Periyar, he had said that the gun must be destroyed, and said that Godse is also a normal human, and he is just a gun and has an organization that was operating him.

Similarly Beant Singh who killed Indira Gandhi and Dhanu who was involved in the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi were also not individuals but driven by organizations, and it is based on such organizations that Kaappaan was made, said Suriya. Kaappaan releases worldwide on September 20.
