Actor Vignesh, who has rechristened himself as Vigneshwaran has pined all his hopes on his next film 'Kudiarasu'. The movie which is about a scribe's war against evil and greedy politicians will hit the screens this January.

'I hope my career will take off after the launch of this film. It is an action-packed film that revolves around the life of a journalist' said Vigneshwaran.

Acting along with him are producers Suresh Khanna and Sathyanarayana. Both it seems are champions in kick-boxing'.

The film is directed by Shabhir Hussain, who was a kick-boxing champion between 2004 and 2007. Vigneshwaran plays the role of an investigative journalist who exposes the evils of a greedy politician within a span of 12 hours.

The cast includes Suguna, Neepa, Sethu Vinayakam, 'Nizhalgal' Ravi, V S Raghavan, John Amrithraj and Anu Mohan. Karthik Raja has scored the music while Andal Priyadharshini has penned the lyrics.
