He may never have praised even a Chiranjeevi movie so much, but Pawan Kalyan stopped at nothing less than panegyrics for 'Dangal'. Not one but three tweets on 'Dangal' and Aamir Khan! For a super-celeb not known to reveal his likes and dislikes so easily, this was way too unprecedented.

What might be the most probable reason for the high-sounding praises?

Aamir must have tried his best to arrange a show for Powerstar before the release of his movie on Dec 23rd. Needless to say, Pawan must have declined it politely, something he is good at. He must have communicated to the Bollywood superstar that he will endorse the movie after the release. Which is what he did ten days later.

Remember that, faced with a social media campaign against him following his 'intolerance' remark last year, Aamir knew he should take recourse to high-profile PR work to occupy the people's mind-space. It's as part of this that he reached out to Rajinikanth and Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev in recent times.

After failing to get Pawan on board, Aamir made it a point to say that he is a fan of Chiranjeevi and Pawan when in Hyderabad last month. Nothing strange. Except that his preference was Mahesh Babu a few years ago!

The last time Pawan spoke about Aamir, it was in the context of commenting on his 'intolerance' remark. Suggesting that celebs should carefully weight their words, Pawan almost said that Aamir's remarks lacked conviction. Months later, the chief of Jana Sena Party is celebrating such an icon.
