Gunasekhar is visibly happy that so many are remembering 'Okkadu', which completed 15 years on Monday. The director, who has since made 'Arjun', 'Sainikudu', 'Varudu', 'Nippu' and 'Rudrama Devi', has been displaying his nostalgia by liking the tweets of the film's fans.
"The Mahesh Babu starrer ran for 100 days in 100 centres, while it ran for 175 days in 10 centres," says a tweet Guna has liked.
It was later remade in five languages. They are 'Ghilli' in Tamil, 'Tevar' in Hindi, 'Jor' in Bengali, 'Ajay' in Kannada and 'Mate Aanidela Lakhe Phaguna' in Odia.
"After Bobby alisipoyam. Babu phone call scene tharwatha vache scene yee hero ki padani Mass Elevation," opines a die-hard Mahesh fan.
