The northwards graph of Harish Shankar

35-year-old Harish Shankar is unlike his contemporaries. It is common to see directors scoring a super hit with their first movie but fizzle out later. This filmmaker is different. He delivered a dud with Shock his first movie, a hit with his second movie (Mirapakai) and now comes with a film that promises to break all the extant records with his third. This self-confessed fan of Pawan Kalyan has taken care of dialogues and adaptation ('marpulu', reads the title credit) and doles out what the stars fans have always waited for.
Since the film derives its strength on Pawan's characterization, the ending should have been on the lines of Pokiri, with the hero delivering a punch line (like that one by Mahesh - Nenu ooka sari commit aiythe na mata nene vinanu). Never mind, because the director showed immense maturity in handling an inspired subject.
In the coming days, Harish will be sought after for this reason: he is one of the few directors in our midst who could handle heroism in an entertaining way. Mirapakai showed it. Gabbar Singh reaffirmed it just.
Keep it up!
