One may have any number of views on Mohan Babu as an actor. He may be well past his sell-by date. His films may be tacky and out of sync with the modern fan’s taste.

But as a human being Mohan Babu sure is still warm and affectionate. He retains his humility whenever he talks of his mentor Dasari Narayana Rao. Mohan Babu leaves no on in doubt about his respect for Dasari when he says that he owes everything in life to the director-producer.

In the recent function to release the audio of Mohan Babu’s latest flick Shiv Shankar, the veteran introduced a touch of warm sentiments when he talked about Dasari. "He made me what I am today. His name is there on every grain I eat today".

Looks like Telugu films alone are not full of sentiments. It heroes’ too are.
