The magnet called Vikram

After a lull, Vikram is going to thrill. 'Inkokkadu', the dubbed version of the Tamil language science fiction thriller 'Iru Mugan', is going to come on Sept 8. For an audience awestruck by Vikram's class acts in such movies as 'Shiva Putrudu' ('Pithamagan') and 'Aparichitudu' (Anniyan), not to forget 'I', this one offers yet another exciting high.
As much as the Tamils, the Telugu audience know for sure that Vikram's movies may have failed, but not the actor. A phenomenon with a near-universal appeal, he is easily an actor and a star hero rolled into one.
Vikram is no stranger to experimenting with radically unusual looks and get-ups. Intensity is his second nature. The latest avatar, that of a transgender desperado, comes with a bang.
More about what Vikram thinks about the character Love. The National Award winner says that Love is "neither gay nor a transgender". He only means to say that there is more to him than the biological categorization. Director Anand Shanakr has etched the character in such a way that it defies stereotypes, the actor has said.
With all familiar faces like Vikram, Nithya Menen and Nayanathara, expect big openings for 'Inkokkadu'.
After all, Vikram is the magnet you can't resist.
