Simbu aka Silambarasan will next be seen in Gautham Vasudev Menon's 'The Life Of Muthu'. Titled 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu' in Tamil, the film is hitting the screens on September 15.

A while ago, the film's teaser was released. We see a range of montages playing out as AR Rahman's song is heard in the background. The gangster drama has Simbu play Siddhi Idnani's jilted lover. A poor man, he grows up to become a gangster.

With music by AR Rahman, the film is written by Jeyamohan. With cinematography handled by Siddhartha Nuni, the film has Production Design by Rajeevan. Editing is by Anthony, while the Telugu version has lyrics written by Anantha Sriram. Dance choreography is by Brinda.

Radhika Sarathkumar will be seen as Muthu's mother, while Siddique, Neeraj Madhav, and Aangelina Abraham have other roles. The film's teaser suggests that 'Muthu' is going to be heavily performance-driven. The action is also raw.
