Business tycoon Legend Saravanan's new movie 'The Legend' was released last weekend with reportedly good response from family audiences. Though the screenplay and making was criticised the confident effort of the hero has received praise.
Rumours broke out on certain sections of the media that Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela who played one of the female leads was paid a whopping rupees twenty crores for the role in 'The Legend'. The reason reported is that the annachi originally approached Nayanthara for the character offerring her the biggest salary in her career but she refused. Hence it is said that Urvashi who then came on board demanded the high salary and got it as well.
However sources close to 'The Legend' team say that the news is false but Urvashi Rautella has been paid one of the highest amounts ever in Tamil cinema for a debutante. Not only that, the source also adds that Saravanan made sure that the entire cast and crew were paid much higher than their usual salaries and everyone got the best treatment on sets and the food and stay were star category.
'The Legend' directed by JD and Jerry is running in theaters worldwide in five languages with. Harris Jayaraj has scored the music, while Velraj is behind the camera and Anl Arasu taking care of the stunt choreography. Legend Saravanan and Geetika Tiwari play the lead pair supported by Urvashi Rautella, Prabhu, Vijayakumar, Suman, Nasser, Livingstone, Thambi Ramaiah, Devadarshini, Robo Shankar and the late Vivek in his last film.
