'The Kashmir Files': Will Rajamouli's father do THIS?

'The Kashmir Files' has become a roaring hit. The sleeper blockbuster is sending shivers down the spine of the superstar Bollywood movie 'Bachchhan Paandey', which will hit the screens this Friday. 'TKF' is a small film that is now inching towards the Rs 100-Cr mark.
Meanwhile, many are hoping that Bollywood will make a few Hindutva-friendly movies in the coming years. One of them, if announced, would be the biopic on Guru Golwalkar, the second Sarsanghchalak of RSS. In 2017, Rajamouli's father Vijayendra Prasad stated in an interview that he was already writing a script on Golwakar. Prasad is an old-time Sangh sympathizer.
But hopes are weak. The fact is that Prasad has been going slow on a lot of fronts. In 2017, he also said that he was writing a biopic of an Assam king who fought with Aurangazeb. "I am penning an extension to the films 'Rowdy Rathore' and 'Nayak'," he said at that time.
But since Hindutva-flavoured movies might work in the current atmosphere, Bollywood production houses are likely to approach Vijayendra Prasad to revive the RSS movie. That's the speculation Netizens are making.
