Yesterday, an Israeli filmmaker controversially described 'The Kashmir Files' as a propaganda movie that is "vulgar". Director Vivek Agnihotri has cryptically trolled him already. Producer Abhishek Agarwal tweeted that the film doesn't need the Israeli filmmaker's validation.
And now, actor-producer Pallavi Joshi has roundly condemned him for being a "genocide-denier". She said that the film portrays the sufferings of the Kashmiri Pandit community both objectively and truthfully for the first time in 30 years. She added that she and Vivek, who is her husband and the film's director, are aware that some elements will always try to run down the "stark truth" shown on the screen.
Joshi wrote that a creative platform like the International Film Festival of India was used to peddle a "political agenda".
"I would like to assure our audience and supporters that 'TKF' remains a people's film," she added.
Recently, director Vivek Agnihotri announced a film titled 'The Vaccine War'. He will also be collaborating with director Sukumar.
