'The Kashmir Files' is reportedly on a rampage in India. It's believed that, on Tuesday (March 15), it netted more than Rs 14 Cr, which is almost the same as what it collected on the first Monday (March 14). Its collections on the first Monday are more than that of Ajay Devgn's 2020 blockbuster 'Tanhaji'.
Meanwhile, the Hindi film has grossed $600K in the US. It is expected to easily cross the one million mark in that country.
In another piece of news, the Assam government has announced half a day leave for those wishing to watch the movie. "Glad to announce that our government employees will be entitled to a half-day special leave to watch #TheKashmirFiles. They will have to only inform their superior officers and submit the tickets the next day," tweeted Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
By the end of its run, 'TKF' is expected to collect more than Rs 200 Cr.
