It's known that Pawan Kalyan is well on his way to becoming a voter from Eluru, West Godavari district. The Jana Sena Party founder-chief has asked the concerned individuals of his party to arrange a suitable residence for him there in the famed town.

There could well be a symbolic significance to the star-cum-politician choosing Eluru as his second home. A historic figure belonging to a particular social group hailed from this town.

This is the place where Kurma Venkata Reddy Naidu, "a lawyer, professor, politician and Justice Party leader who served as the Chief Minister of Madras Presidency" in the British era, was born. "He was the last Chief Minister of Madras Presidency from the Justice Party and belonged to the Kapu caste," Wikipedia says.
