'The Jungle Book' collects whopping of Rs 40 crore in its opening

This year`s most anticipated and awaited movie The Jungle Book` hindi version hit the screens on April 8. This action and adventure movie is directed by Jon Favreau and it has collected a whopping of Rs 40 crore on its opening day. It had become the second biggest opening weekend in India after Akshay Kumar Airlift`.
According to many leading trade analyst, the film has minted Rs. 10.09 cr. at the box office on first day and it saw a growth of 33.89% growth on Saturday. The Jungle Book` is all set to cross Rs 50 cr mark on weekdays and I`m sure it will. In the Hindi version, Priyanka Chopra voices Kaa- the python, Irrfan Khan has lent his voice to the friendly bear Baloo, Shefali Shah has dubbed for Raksha -the wolf and veteran actor Om Puri has lent his voice to Bagheera -the Black Panther, while Nana Patekar has lent his voice to Shere Khan-tiger.
Fans and viewers are going gaga over every single frame of the movie and they love for actor Neel Sethi is increasing from then on.
