Martin Scorcese brings together acting powerhouses and Oscar winners Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci for his ambitious 'The Irishman'.  That is not all as this is the legendary director's biggest budgeted venture at 200 million and also the first to use extensive visual effects for de-ageing the three principle stars to look thirty years younger.

'The Irishman' is based on the novel 'I heard You Painted Houses' by Charles Brandt and depicts the story of how Frank Sheeran (Robert De Niro) assassinated Jimmy Hoffa (Al Pacino) which has remained a mystery till date.  Harvey Keitel, Bobby Cannavale, Anna Paquin and others costar.  The film will premiere at the New York Film Festival on September 27th and later after a limited theatrical release will begin streaming on Netflix from the year end..  Do watch the trailer with the distinct Scorcese signature here.
