The title appears like an English cinema. No it is Kannada film. Even Kannada activist Sa Ra Govindu heading the apex body of KFCC is not able to console and convince the Kannada film makers to keep Kannada title for Kannada film.

Here is a Kannada film ‘The Great Himalayan Trip’ – a journey to the Himalaya. It is a children film involving 40 children. On last Monday at Ganesha Temple in Kengeri satellite town the film went on the floors.

The film is on adventure of children who take a trip to ‘Bharata Darshana’. Kumari Nivedhita sounded clap board, Smt Chandrakala Nataraj flagged off the film. Chi Divit N switched on the camera. It is Messrs Hema Enterprises film produced by C Nagesh (Singasandra) and K Ishwari.

K Ishwar Elekoppa has written story, screenplay and direct the film. It is a travel in the bus of 40 kids to Himalaya. In the journey the children faces trials and tribulations. Six children in the bus use their mental ability and save the rest.

In Mysuru, Guruvayoor, Madurai and other tourist’s spots in 30 days shoot will be held. Santosh is cameraman of this film. The selection of artists and other technicians is in progress.
