'The Ghost' and 'GodFather' are going to clash on October 5. The Dasara race is going to be stiff.

Speaking at the pre-release event of his film on Wednesday, Megastar Chiranjeevi was kind enough to whole-heartedly wish Nagarjuna's movie. He described the 'Bangarraju' actor, whom he has had a strong rapport with for decades, as a friend, well-wisher and a brother. "He is close to my hart. 'The Ghost' is also going to be released on the same day as my film," Chiru said. Nag's action thriller is directed by Praveen Sattaru.

Further, Chiru also wished 'Swathi Muthyam' all the best. "Young boy Ganesh (Bellamkonda) also needs a hit. Only when both big and small films do well, is the industry going to be prosperous," the 'Acharya' and 'Bholaa Shankar' actor said.

Chiru peppered his speech with overt sentimentalism. When it rained heavily, he said that it has rained during his past visits to the Rayalaseema region (the event was held in Anantapur). "During the shoot of an 'Indra' song, Varuna 'devudu' showered us with a downpour. When I was campaigning in Pulivendula, it raiend heavily," Chiru said.
