The gamble that 'Manmadhudu-2' is playing

'Manmadhudu-2' will release on August 9. Just a few days later, 'Saaho' will release, on August 15.
Usually, big-ticket films are spaced out adequately (this is not to say the two films are on the same page; the latter is a zillion leagues ahead). Normally, the mammoth scale of release of Prabhas' film should make it hard for any other film to be at the box-office a week before and a week after Independence Day. August 9 was expected to go for small films, so also the next week after Saaho's release.
It has to be seen whether the gamble will pay off for the producers and distributors of Nagarjuna's flick. The film will have to make the most out of its first week.
