Thalapathy Vijay had a release this Diwali with the sports based women empowerment movie Bigil which was directed by his Theri and Mersal director Atlee and the movie produced by AGS Entertainment has been running successfully with packed shows.

While it has been said that the movie has already grossed more than 270 crores worldwide and is set to emerge as the biggest grosser in Vijay's career, the movie, after becoming the first Tamil movie to be screened on IMAX, and the first Tamil movie to be released in Egypt, has achieved another first.

Bigil is now releasing on November 15 and 16 in Jordan and this makes the movie the first Tamil movie to release there. Bigil which stars Viiay in dual roles as father Rayappan and son Michael and also starring Nayanthara, Kathir has music by AR Rahman.
