Vijay becomes the first Tamil actor to get this!

Actor Vijay who is fresh from the success of Bigil directed by Atlee has another reason to rejoice, as his wax statue has been unveiled in a museum in Kanyakumari. Previously, the museum had statues of world leaders and Indian leaders and stars from other industries.

Kanyakumari is one of the most popular tourist spots, and near Kanyakumari railway station, Mayapuri Wax museum is located. The museum had been attracting tourists with statues of great personalities like Abdul Kalam, Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachhcan, Mohanlal, Mother Teresa, Obama and Manmohan Singh.

Now a statue of Thalapathy Vijay has been unveiled in the museum making hi the first Tamil actor to get this honour. The statue was placed for public viewing by Vijay Makkal Iyakkam members, and fans from all over the state came to get a glimpse of the statue of their favorite star.
