The film is written and directed by Mani Ratnam's former associate, Sudha Kongara. 'Irudhi Suttru' is a bilingual, releasing in Hindi as 'Sala Khadoos'. Ritika Singh plays the female lead in this movie. The bilingual will be released by UTV Motion Pictures, in association with Rajkumar Hirani Films, Tricolour Films, Thirukumaran Entertainment and YNot Studios.
