It is easy mess up the sequels of near perfect films or shows but creators Raj and DK pulled off the impossible. Manoj Baypayee, who headlined the show, gave a phenomenal performance and in a recent interview, he talked about how difficult it was to get in the skin of the character.

He said, In Season 2, Shrikant is not his usual self that you have seen him in season one. He is a troubled man, somebody who is going through a lot of trauma and mental disturbance. To portray that mental state and to get those variations with each and every scene, with the same Shrikant that you have seen in season 1, was very difficult. Also, it was physically exhausting and challenging for me.

The actor further added, There are two or three major action sequences, they have really taken a toll on my body. They have challenged my stamina, because they are long shots, the action keeps going on and on. For that, you have to do multiple rehearsals and several takes to get it right.
