Vivek Rajan Agnihotri's 'The Kashmir Files' is creating history all over. On Friday, which was a Holi festival holiday, it is estimated to have netted more than Rs 18 Cr. Its collections have touched almost Rs 123 Cr (worldwide) by this measure in just 8 days.
Meanwhile, Vivek's next title is already being talked about. It is 'The Delhi Files'. In his latest interview, producer Abhishek Agarwal confirmed the same. The project was made official last year. It was originally planned to be released in Hindi and Punjabi in October this year. But since 'Kashmir Files' has become a pan-India blockbuster, maybe, 'Delhi Files' is going to have a multi-lingual release.
Last year when the project revolving around the anti-Sikh riots was announced, the makers described 'Delhi Files' as the boldest of the trilogy ('Tashkent Files', 'Kashmir Files' are the other two 'Files' trilogy movies). "Hiding truth, denying justice and no value of human life are blots on our democracy. If 'The Tashkent Files' was about the Right to Truth, 'The Kashmir Files' was about the Right to Justice. And 'The Delhi Files' is about the Right to Life," Vivek said at that time.
Bankrolled by Tej Narayan Agarwal, Archana Agarwal, and Pallavi Joshi, the film is expected to become a bit hit.
