Known as the ÂDancing Diva of the Bollywood industry, her gracious moves set many heartÂs pumping with energy. With her recently launched online dance academy, the wonder woman has added a new light to ÂBollywood DanceÂ. Well, of course we are talking about Madhuri Dixit.
"Ek do teen" marked her entry to Bollywood. This chartbuster from the movie ÂTezaab released in the year 1988 was choreographed by Saroj Khan. Another masterpiece choreographed by him was "Dola Re" from ÂDevdas which saw both Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai sharing a sizzling onscreen presence. "Maar Dala", her solo in the movie made many miss a blink. If one had to name a song which would skip their beat, it would of course be the sensuous "Dhak Dhak Karne Laga" and "Choli Ke Peeche Kya hai" from ÂBeta and ÂKhalnayak respectively. In fact these two songs still remain a hit and one cannot miss listening to this when at a Desi club.
"Chane ke Khet Mein" from the movie ÂAnjaam emerged as a dancerÂs favourite as Madhuri with her flawless dancing and apt expressions stole everyoneÂs heart. The versatile dancer was roped in for "Key sara sara" with the famous dancer - both Bollywood and Kollywood - Mr.Prabhudeva for the movie ÂPukarÂ. The movie with around 13 songs was ÂHum Aapke Hain Kaun and in fact all the songs sung MadhuriÂs praise for her expression and grace in her moves. "Didi tera dewar" was definitely a hit during the 90Âs, a favourite at many weddings too.
Her comeback in the movie "Aaja Nachle" and in fact the song titled in the same name gained her laurels. Her long break clearly did not stop her from not shaking those curves; as she made sure all the dance numbers in the song had something for every dancer to learn from. Her other hits ofcourse are endless.. Mera Piya Ghar Aaya" and "Dekha tujhe to" from ÂKoyla are of course amongst her best dancing hits.
