'Soggade Chinni Nayana' has opened to an overwhelming critical acclaim. The socio-fantasy element involves Lord Shiva and this brings to memory Nagarjuna's two other films that have a connection with the same God. They are 'Yeduru Leni Manishi' and 'Damarukam'.

In the latest film, Nag is sent to Earth by Lord Yama at the behest of Shiva. Once on Earth, Nag realizes that there is a danger and the climax is about how he accomplishes his mission with divine help.

Since it has been long since a socio-fantasy starring a superstar has released, the film is all set to get a lot of attention. However, the element is not overdone and is simple and as brief as possible. The CG work is good enough and the film evokes countryside nostalgia for sure.

Let's not forget that Nag became a reigning star after Ram Gopal Varma's legendary movie 'Shiva'!
