The R.K. Laxman Common Man Statue at Worli Sea Face is an iconic representation of our times. It mirrors the trials and tribulations of the every man. Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami`, an upcoming movie starring Anupam Kher, Neha Dhupia, Manu Rishi, Divyendu Sharma & Aditi Sharma dwells on the same subject.

The film focuses on its lead actor, Anupam Kher who plays a common man dealing with hardships combined with a little humour and spring in his steps. It is quite like the well-known Indian Cartoon, The Common Man which has for many years represented the hopes, aspirations, troubles and perhaps even weaknesses of the average Indian.

On the 9th of September 2014 the ensemble cast of this quirky madcap comedy will get together to honour the statue.

The team of Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami has decided to launch a song called Tod De Kataar` at the Common Man site in bid to ask people to break the queue & go after what their dreams! The song will release at 1 pm on 9th September 2014.

Ekkees Topoon Ki Salaami is an intelligent, heart-warming comedy that provides some food for thought. Directed by Ravindra Gautam and produced by Abhinav Shukla, the film is a satire about the life of a common man. It revolves around the relationship between a father and his sons. The film is slated to release on 10th October, 2014.
