The Battle between 'Puli' and 'Paayum Puli' begins Today

In a co-incidence of sorts today the 2nd of August sees the audio release functions of two similarly titled films Vijay's Puli' and Vishal's Paayum Puli'. Paayum Puli' is a cop story based on a true story for which the music is scored by D.Imman and the music of Puli' a fantasy adventure film is by Devi Sri Prasad.
There have been rumors that Vishal considers Vijay as his main competitor and deliberately named his film Paayum Puli' to counter Puli' and also selected the same date for the audio launch to show his might. Recently, when newsmen quizzed Vishal whether he was taking on Vijay he put an end to the rumors by saying that he is the first fan of Vijay.
